BREAKING NEWS: Emir Sanusi II to Be Inaugurated as Chairman of the Kano Council of Chiefs
Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano State has announced that the Kano State Emirate Council will be inaugurated under the leadership of Emir Muhammadu Sanusi II, along with three other emirs, in April 2025 to enable it to effectively carry out its functions.
The governor further stated that the council’s rules, code of conduct, and other important guidelines will be disclosed on the day of the official coronation of the Chairman of the Emirate Council, Emir Muhammadu Sanusi II, along with the other three emirs from Gaya, Karaye, and Rano.
