HIS EXCELLENCY, THE GOVERNOR OF KANO STATE, ALHAJI ABBA KABIR YUSUF, SWEARS IN SEVEN NEW COMMISSIONERS

HIS EXCELLENCY, THE GOVERNOR OF KANO STATE, ALHAJI ABBA KABIR YUSUF, SWEARS IN SEVEN NEW COMMISSIONERS

This morning, Monday, January 6, 2025, His Excellency, the Governor of Kano State, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, swore in seven new commissioners at the Government House.

This move aims to fill vacant positions and ensure effective service delivery in the state's ministries.

After swearing in the commissioners, the Governor also appointed three new Special Advisers:

Hon. Ahmad Muhammad Speaker as Special Adviser on Media and Communications.

Engineer Ahmad as Special Adviser on Works.

Malam Sani Abdullahi Tofa as Special Adviser on Special Duties.

 

Additionally, the following appointments were made:

Hon. Ibrahim Jibrin Fagge as Chairman of the Local Government Service Commission.

Hajiya Ladidi Ibrahim Garko as Chairperson of the Kano State Civil Service Commission.

 

These appointments reflect Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf's commitment to placing competent individuals in key positions to advance the development of Kano State.
