The Gidan Igwai Emirate has suspended Usman Umar, popularly known as "Soja Boy," from his title as the Prince of Gidan Igwai.

According to the official statement, the emirate reviewed certain matters and decided to suspend him from his royal title.

The statement explained that a video of him engaging in activities that contradict the religion, traditions, and values of the people of Gidan Igwai had surfaced. Based on this, the emirate decided to suspend and strip him of his title.

Furthermore, the statement highlighted how the people of the region strongly condemned his actions and distanced themselves from such inappropriate behavior, which the former prince has been displaying in his songs.

Finally, the emirate advised the former prince to fear God and embrace the teachings and values of Islam.

This was stated in an official announcement signed by Alh. Abubakar Marafa from the Office of Marafa Sarkin Adar, Gidan Igwai.
